Another of the Derby 350th historic plaques was recently installed at the AM Club. They are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. This plaque along with several others was made possible by a grant from the Valley Community Foundation.

The rules for the Derby Greenway were drawn up before anyone was thinking about e-bikes or e-scooters. Motorized vehicles except for wheelchairs are not currently allowed. Glastonbury Police Department posted this for information and consideration.

Due to the coming snowstorm, there will be no trash or recycling pick up on Monday January 26, 2026. Therefore, all trash and recycling will be delayed one day all week.

Mayor Joseph DiMartino has declared a snow emergency beginning at 12:00 midnight on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Parking will be restricted to the even numbered side of all city streets until 36 hours after the storm ends.
