Easier said than done… but this is an area worth putting the work in! The results will change everything!
Two big mistakes in life:
1. Worrying about what other people think about you.
2. Believing that other people think about you in the first place.
Harsh Truth: Most people don’t really care about you.
The Spotlight Effect says that we overestimate the degree to which other people are noticing or observing our actions.
This is liberating—stop worrying about what others think, be yourself, and live according to your values.
This has been my work over the last 6 months… to really see the judgement I’ve held for decades around who I am, forgive myself for that judgment & to ask what is more true about me. It's led to me KNOWING who I am for the first time in my life. It's changing everything!
Spot on. This happens in a lot of other business too. I see operators focused on selling to everybody and missing the lessons they learn through selling to a single somebody first.
