pi durable gets all the fame, but i find virtual models equally if not more impactful for day to day. use case: have a bunch of configs / extensions point to "gpt-sol" instead of "codex/gpt-6.1-sol", then update in one place instead of everywhere as the new model arrives.

was only found out about it while digging through the docs, so most folks prob not even aware of it pi.dev/docs/latest/virtual-m…

the sidebar doesn't shift while focused, so you don't accidentally misclick

so far, the best use of Astra (and Fable) is meta-work: high-level planning, custom skills, docs, orchestration

tried ox alpha. requires a lot of steering and feedback to get stuff right. also pretty slow (probably rate limited). overall, could be a nice workhorse, on par with ds4f, but definitely not something you'd manually drive.

highly recommend asking your clanker to give you a summary of changes. lots of really cool stuff coming
If you're curious about what's happening with the new harness in Pi, a lot of activity is taking place in the dev branch and not on main :)

linear's new design is cool and all, but one thing i really enjoyed is that they used claude code to create an internal one-off tool to iterate on the color palette quickly

one thing i've been doing which i think is underrated is vibecoding custom LLM wrappers for specifc tasks one example is making a CLI to create consitent images based on the reference image + list of prompts probs could be done with openclaw but i don't like using chat for this

good piece by @CalebJohn24 on selling to agents it will be more and more obvious over time that if you're invisible to agents, you're invisible to everyone calebjohn.xyz/blog/b2cc/
