I love Sceptile, it's one of my favourite Pokémon, Treecko was my first starter ever and I loved Grovyle in Mystery Dungeon.
But
Mega Sceptile is so unbearable awful in VGC to the point that playing it feels like a self-induced torture.

There is no ethical or unethical moveset on a Pokémon. If it exists and it wins then there's no reason to not use it.
If you find something "boring" that's on you, and it's your perception.
Safety Goggles won't solve the Sleep Powder problem. What you can do with them in this meta you can already do it with Lum Berry Incineroar.
The reason why isn't played it's because it's suboptimal.
Safety Goggles were amazing because Amoonguss was there in the first place

Yes, Raichu-X is still in Honorable Mentions even after winning Nice. It's was the right Pokémon at the right time. Though I think it's better than every Mon in that row

Nice Regional 2026 - Day 2 and Top 128.
The first Day 2 of my career. Despite that, winning makes you want to win more, so I’m not satisfied with how my Day 2 run went. I’ll try to prove to myself that I can aim for bigger stages despite the dedication I put into my med-career.
