It is indeed an amazing approach, but they train very hard and bad visibility means you don't get in. But reaching Bhutan is worth a lot of effort
i was at Anfield for (one of) the famous Bruce Grobbelaar nightmare games ... 1-3 - no chance of a title ... or was there ? This was early in his career, and Brucie saved far more than he was responsible for, but this wasn't his finest performance ...

Thank you .. enjoyed it as always ... you can see what Port are trying to build, just wish they could play home games at home ... JDT had too much 2nd half ... rare weekend off for both teams ...

In 1999, in exchange for government backing over the right of the Premier League to sell its broadcast rights collectively, the League promised to distribute 5% of its TV income to the grassroots game from 2001 season onwards however this pledge continues to remain unfulfilled.
and I was there ...
Terry Mac's goal for 7-0 still the most thrilling I ever saw live. From the Kop I can still visualise his 80 metre sprint from box to box to get his header from Steve Heighway's cross.
Can't have happened because a) Football only invented in 1992, b) Sheff Wed 4th in Div 1 .. that's like saying Wednesday made it to Wembley twice in a season. Preposterous. C) It wasn't broadcast, so it never happened .... d) SURELY the greatest was THAT 4-0.
Enjoyed your post
#OnThisDay 58 years ago - the greatest match to ever grace the hallowed turf of Hillsborough (so I'm told) - 31-8-1968 #Wednesday were 4th in Division 1 after beating

(for old Devils fans) ... doesn't this make you feel a little bit old !!! Son-of-Vezio on target for the Devils. Welcome back home.

They gave it a real go - but lost 3-5. Competing for 9-16th places now. Surely the last big Tournament for many of these stalwarts.
Malaysia's Hockey Men - playing the World Cup (to precious little publicity) - were denied a late winner in their 3-3 draw vs. France.
They have a chance of a place in the last 8. All that stands in the way are Belgium - the World no 1 ~!

Defeat for Malaysia in the @ASEANHyundaiCup semi final in Vietnam. A valiant effort from a largely youthful, injury-ravaged squad. Singapore are going back to a near-heroes welcome after (overall) defeat to Thailand - I hope there's some recognition for Tan, Cheng Hoe's squad.
