I hate the thought of having to walk around with security..but I’m going to do that moving forward to protect myself…If I’m out in public and don’t take any pictures or sign any autographs..please don’t take it personally…I don’t know how I feel about a lot of things at the moment. I was already at my destination when the young adult literally pulled alongside me, threatened to shoot me, and talked about getting a gun after I drove around them. Why would I lose my cool for no reason?
I asked Southlake Police Officer Valdez to obtain all the footage from around the business so he could see what happened. He said he did, but another officer said they hadn’t. They gave me a citation without conducting the full investigation I requested, even though I was willing to go down to the station.
I told the officer I could have done far worse than slap the phone out of his hand. You can’t act like you’re going to your car to get a gun and shoot me, then start recording me.
The main thing I’m still trying to figure out is who reported that there was a gun and why the officer pointed it directly at me.
