Some more good news for the Philippines:
The NLEX C5 link is now open and will remain free until Dec 31, 2026.
Still manageable. Japan has 250% GDP to debt ratio. They're spending 25% on debt servicing. Their economy has been stagnating for 30 years. They are in a crisis.
Our main problems are energy dependency and our export industry heavily relying on imported materials.
The US spends 18% of its annual budget on servicing debt while having a debt-to-GDP ratio of 128%. It can afford to do this because the dollar is a reserve currency.
The Philippines spends 28% of its annual budget on servicing debt while having a debt-to-GDP ratio of 66%. It CANNOT afford to keep this up because the rest of the budget only goes to enrich a few at the expense of the many.
In many ways, the Philippines is already in a debt crisis.

My sole mission in congress is to get this law passed and reduce corruption by 50%. It's always the 3 year guys who are the problem.
The Senate majority bloc is backing a planned purge of the House-approved 2027 national budget bill riddled with “corruption-prone” insertions, with Sen. Panfilo Lacson giving assurance that no one would be spared. tinyurl.com/3vdjpvf9 | via @onenewsph

Crypto is dying because we allowed Lazarus to do anything it wants without repurcussion. And they will continue to come back again and again to pillage whatever is left of the corpse. But this time armed with 10x better tools in AI. Unless they are removed there is no hope.
Vince Dizon's PR team is working overtime to push him in 2028. They took him out of DPWH bec he was going to fail there.
TIL: you should be setting aircon temp between 24-27 degrees and not lower. Apparently it cools the same but lowers energy consumption by 50%.
"if price stops moving lower despite heavy long liquidations, that can tell you a lot about the demand sitting underneath the market"
This guy used to be a god. Wut happuned?
i pay close attention to how price reacts during large liquidation events
when billions in forced buying or selling hit the market, the important signal is how much of that pressure gets absorbed
if price stops moving lower despite heavy long liquidations, that can tell you a lot about the demand sitting underneath the market
i think these moments often create important levels to watch on future retests, especially after a significant amount of leverage has been cleared out
We can pass a single law that would remove corruption by 50% - increase term limits of ALL elected officials to 6 years with one reelection.
Bad officials can be removed through a recall election.
Now crocodiles only have to raise once every 6 years.
Akala nila makakalusot sila.

This is good news. 85% of residents in Metro Manila live in real actual houses. Why would they want to live in an overpriced shoebox?
Singapore - 85% live in shoebox condos
Hong kong - 95%
Seoul - 65%
Sydney - 60%
We are much closer to paris, london, San Francisco.
Metro Manila’s condo glut persists: 80,000 unsold units, discounts hit 40%
Metro Manila’s condominium oversupply remains a stubborn challenge, with nearly 80,000 units still unsold despite developers slowing construction and rolling out aggressive incentives to attract buyers, according to Colliers Philippines research director Joey Bondoc.
The slowdown is taking its toll on new projects, with only 2,200 units completed in the third quarter of 2026, roughly half the original forecast of 4,500 units.
But the glut is creating opportunities for property buyers, with developers offering discounts of up to 40 percent on select ready-for-occupancy units, alongside flexible payment schemes and other incentives.

Underrated good news in the Philippines:
- exports rose 27.8% from last yesr reaching all time high. Mainly focused on electronics.
- We amazingly stumbled into a high growth industry (semiconductors) at the right time and correctly shifting to higher value chip design.
Filipinos shouldn't migrate because of politics. We are in the golden age of remote work so you can earn first world salaries and stay here with a low cost of living.
I have been to more than 50 cities around the world.
The grass is not greener on the other side.

You can't change the country by only focusing on the problems. You also need to learn and stick with what we did right - but most filipinos don't ever study this and just stick to the irritant of the day.
