man these Abundos simply cannot let go of Jared Golden even after he committed an act of rank insubordination to the entire Democratic caucus that enabled a ton of GOP bills to pass instead of fail. I suspect thatโs a positive for them.

Per this @zeteo_news story:ย Stephen Miller has privately told confidants he's afraid liberals will try to throw him in prison after Trump is out of power, and file lawsuits against him for years.
Trump's elevation of him is a challenge: is Democratic leadership about it, or not?
Have my doubts about the robot thing! Amazes me that Tesla shareholders still has undying faith in this guy. He might be delusional enough to actually believe his grandiose predictions but it's been 12 years of this ridiculous bullshit, over and over again.

CORRECTION: This post and opinion video states that Abdul El-Sayed gave his acceptance speech in Arabic. Thatโs not accurate. In fact, he said a few phrases in Arabic, but the majority of his speech was in English. The Free Press regrets the error.

Chuck Schumer saw 4 Black Senate candidates closing in on historic Southern upsetsโNixon in FL, Davis in LA, Wess in AL, and Colom in MSโand starved every single campaign.
Left 4 Senate seats on the table because his playbook is from 1980.

โI regret not spending more against Angieโ instead of โI regret not investing more in our nominee, Angieโ is a willllld take
Especially when your last filing shows youโre sitting on a $4m+ war chest.
@AngieNixon crushed the primary because she focused on the issues of affordability, and met her neighbors where they were at.
She closed a 16-point gap from โ22 to a slim 2-point margin this election.
Angie & her team are the reason Florida is in play for โ28.
Angie & her team deserve their flowers & well deserved rest for helping break the FL Republican supermajority.
Now that the midterms are over, let me correct the record.ย
-I wasn't handpicked by Chuck Schumer. I didn't even talk to the man until after I announced.ย
Iโm not sure exactly what a corporate or establishment Dem is, but Iโm pretty sure itโs not a first-time candidate or a career military guy. Call me a moderate, Iโll take it. I always think big, but I donโt let idealism get in the way of getting a job done. Iโm practical and would take Medikids and lower age limits for Medicare to expand healthcare and drive down costs over nothing at all. In 2028 after a Dem trifecta, I expect bold moves.
-Be an asshole and call me a carpetbagger! So I moved here four years ago, AFTER SERVING IN THE FOR 21 years. I'm here with my family, raising my daughter, and caring for my elderly parents in SoFlo. I decided to run because it was clear that the midterms would trigger a Blue Tsunami, because Trump sucks.ย And I saw a path to win the general election. I jumped-in to help. Call it a call to serve. Same one from a lifetime of service.
Let's just say I was very skeptical, because hey its Florida, but I wasn't going to sit on my ass when the stakes were so high.
No I didnโt move to Florida to run for Senate! ๐
-I have some regrets, but even in losing, I delivered 1.5M to Florida candidates and to races that would have otherwise been left short-changed. I feel that in some small way I pitched in to help break the super majorities in the Florida House and Senate.
-I invested 3M in total to campaigns and parties around the country including Iowa, Ohio, Alaska, etc., including in Kansas and South Carolina when few were looking there.
-I wish I had chosen to outspend Angie 20, 10, or even 5 to 1 on the primary. I only spend 2:1 on the primary. Obviously a HUGE mistake. I was too focused on defeating Moody and building real democratic power.
-Angie was tireless in making her case to primary voters, while I was trying to connect with potential crossover voters without first securing my base.ย
-I neglected to heed the old maxim always fight and finish the battle in front of you.
-I never took a penny from AIPAC. Those claiming otherwise, when they knew better, were playing to the old Jewish dual allegiance troupe.

Replyguys disputing the significance of the Powell memo: @davidsirota made a devastating podcast series on this that reveals Powell to have been at the center of a sprawling conspiracy to legalize & institutionalize corruption.
James Talarico traces 50 years of trickle-down back to one 1971 document, the Powell memo, a corporate blueprint to buy power
โIn fact, you can, you can pinpoint this one document called the Powell memo, 1971.โ
โBut if you read this memo, it's basically a blueprint for how corporate interests can start to dismantle the Great Society and the New Dealโ
โThey're going to spend massive amounts of money in our politics, buying politicians in both parties, elevate corporate voices in media, appoint sympathetic judges.โ
โAnd that has really been the story of the last 50 years in this country, last five decades.โ

Heโs back on that 2008 loser shit. His refusal to hold Bush accountable in 2008 is what laid the path for Trumpโs fascism. We want Nuremberg trials, not more corruption and fascism. Fuck no.
Tonight, the American people sent a clear message โ they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country โ including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.
