May the radiance of Christmas and the hope of the New Year light up your hearts, bringing peace and joy.🌷❤️🌷❄️☀️

After many long months, I’ve finally returned to Sainte-Martine. The breeze is gentle, the light serene. Just nearby, two Lesser Yellowlegs play without a care, and their joy stirs something deep within me.
I’m rediscovering the pleasure of photography — that attentive gaze, that suspended breath — despite all I’ve been through. It feels as though beauty had been waiting patiently, ready to welcome me back.
Life is fragile, yet precious. To savor it, even in fleeting moments, is already a form of gratitude.
One word to say: Thank you ❤️
The day before yesterday, I finally spotted the two baby Great Horned Owl on the other side of the swamp. Seeing them together completely made my day!😍😍😍
Two metres above his brother or sister in this big tree.
Look! Even at this young age, this young Great Horned Owl already has the gaze of a predator. Yesterday in Montreal.
In just two weeks since I last saw them, they’ve already flown out of the nest. I thought they would go far away soon, but here they are again!
They’re very adorable, and I’m so happy to see them this morning. (Two babies, another one not so faraway from him.)

Wood Duck drift leisurely on the water, carefree and serene, evoking a quiet admiration. Each time I gaze upon them, it feels as if I, too, can steal a moment of tranquility.

I've been photographing Snowy Owl for years, but this is the first time I've seen one still here on May 3rd without having migrated north. I hope it's not injured. Baie-du-Febvre. Quebec.
My first time trying my R1, and its performance was outstanding. Although it only has 24 million pixels, its fast focusing speed completely satisfies me. The Canon EOS R1 Plus further enhances this with its rapid autofocus and high-speed shooting capabilities, making it an exceptional choice for capturing dynamic scenes.

Yesterday, I had the chance to see this beautiful willow ptarmigan, an extremely rare visitor to Montreal,(A first-ever documented sighting—what a special moment to witness such a remarkable bird!) and it's still wearing its winter coat.😍😍😍
