Pope Leo will vote in the upcoming US midterm elections via a mail ballot in the Vatican. 🫵 Will YOU be at the polls on Tuesday, November 3, too?

Someone interviewed this guy after this and this made me like him more.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Made this list of my favorite rock songs of the 21st century until I ran out of room... ask me again tomorrow and this list might look 100 percent different.

Last month, Kirk Herbstreit said he doesn't follow politics or pick sides. Which was nonsense. Just last week, Herbstreit quietly headlined a fundraising dinner for Alabama's second-biggest PAC. The next day, it sent $155,000 to Tommy Tuberville. foiaball.com/p/kirk-herbstre…

How many bands ever switched primary lead vocalists during their tenure and the other member stayed in the band and was completely okay with the change... the only example I can think of is Jimmy Eat World lmao

it somehow took me my entire life of hearing these songs constantly to realize that motley crue's "dr feelgood" is basically an inferior rewrite of "walk this way"

If you took out one hour from scrolling each day and allocated it to reading, you’d read about 25-30 books a year.
Re: the perpetual “how do people read so many books?” discourse: Average person reads 1 page per minute and if we call the average book 365 pages (it’s probably less) then you will average 1 book per year for each minute you devote to reading each day. Pretty simple.

I don’t know if this would be announced ahead of time but if The Roots are backing this halftime show my anticipation for it would exponentially increase

Jack Antonoff tells Ed Sheeran to “stand the f*ck up” after Macklemore was fired from his tour for showing support to Palestine: “it’s not in any way a strange, uncomfortable or controversial thing to say [Free Palestine], it’s a deeply human thing to say. If you think it is [controversial] you’re lost in some other sauce that is so crazy. They’re going to let some f*cking promoter tell me what I can say? Don’t book me. I’ll play for free outside. [Ed Sheeran] missed a massive, beautiful opportunity there: just cancel the whole fucking tour, then play for free outside each venue, raise a bunch of money, rather than let a fucking billionaire tell you what to do. The reason it’s not an anomaly or niche issue is because we all live in a world where billionaires are constantly telling us what to do. So stand the f*ck up.” (theguardian.com/music/2026/o…)
