❓Why do smart investors make crazy decisions? @FMG_LSE was delighted to host Alex Edmans on Monday night at the Old Theatre for a public lecture and book launch of The Madness of Markets: Why Smart Investors Make Crazy Decisions – and How to Exploit Them.📕 From overreaction and underreaction to overconfidence, Alex brought investor psychology to life with vivid examples of how our biases shape financial decisions and move markets. A packed room, a lively discussion, and a diverse audience bringing fresh perspectives to the conversation! 👏 A huge thank you to @aedmans for an engaging and thought-provoking lecture, @peng_cameron for chairing, and to everyone who joined us! #BehaviouralFinance #LSEMadnessofMarkets #BookLaunch #FinancialMarketsGroup #FMG #LSE

The amazing* Kalina Manova discusses her new paper about "tariff confusion." The evidence suggests that it had important effects on firm behavior. Highly recommended! cepr.org/multimedia/tariff-c… (*I am not just saying this because we are married.)
