🚨 Canada’s “SAFE Social Media Act” isn’t about protecting kids — it’s a Trojan horse for more government control.
Liberals and Minister Mark Miller are pushing the usual “protect the children” line: ban under-16s from social media (with exemptions), force platforms to remove harmful content fast, and create a new Digital Safety Commission regulator. Sounds good on paper, right?
But look closer:
Private messaging is explicitly exempted (including DMs, group chats, etc.). Yet that’s exactly where the vast majority of real harms happen — grooming, sextortion, bullying, exploitation, and predatory contact. Predators don’t operate in public feeds; they slide into DMs and move kids off-platform to Discord, Snapchat, etc.
Enforcement?
Delayed for 18+ months while they set up the regulator and figure out age verification. In the meantime, the problems continue.
This isn’t serious child protection. It’s selective regulation that leaves the worst parts untouched while giving Ottawa a powerful new tool to pressure platforms on what content they allow in public — setting the stage for broader speech control under the guise of safety.
Parents should absolutely have tools to protect their kids. But using emotional “think of the children” rhetoric to ram through more top-down oversight while ignoring where the predators actually operate?
That’s not protection — that’s a ruse for control.
What do you think — genuine safety effort, or classic government overreach?
Drop your thoughts ...

U.S. Officials say the DEAL exploded because Mark Carney needs to win Bi-Election in Canada 🇨🇦
⁉️ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT🇨🇦🚨
A 66-year-old rural Manitoba homeowner catches FOUR people on his property in the middle of the night, stealing fuel from stolen vehicles.
He fires warning shots to stop them. They surrender. He calls the police like a law-abiding citizen.Police show up… and charge the homeowner with SIX firearms offences.
The thieves get charged too, sure. But the man defending his own land and property is the one looking at serious criminal charges that could ruin his life.
This is what “justice” looks like in Canada right now.
You should not have to choose between protecting your home and family… or risking prosecution for doing so.
Rural property owners are sitting ducks while the system prioritizes charging the victim.
Enough is enough.
Protect your property.
Protect your family.
The law should have your back — not the other way around. 🇨🇦🤬🤔

Absolutely.
The USA and Trump were never the problem.
Canada’s real problem has always been right here at home.
For years our own governments treated the massive asymmetry with the United States like it didn’t exist. We became more dependent while under-investing in the things that actually matter:
🔸️Productivity
🔸️Energy development
🔸️Infrastructure
🔸️Capital formation
🔸️Real export diversification
Instead of fixing those structural weaknesses, we got slogans, politics, and complacency.
If outside pressure finally forces Canada to confront that reality and start building again, then history may judge it differently than the headlines do today. We might hate the method… and still end up thanking the wake-up call.
The solution was never louder rhetoric aimed south.
It was always more investment, more growth, and more seriousness from our own side.

Canada’s problem was never that the U.S. is too aggressive.🇨🇦
It’s that Canada spent years pretending asymmetry didn’t matter.
The U.S. is bigger, more productive, more capital-rich and less dependent on Canada than Canada is on the U.S.
So the answer was never louder slogans.
It was always:
More investment.
More productivity.
More energy.
More infrastructure.
More export options.
If Trump forces Canada to finally fix those structural weaknesses, Charest may be right:
20 years from now, we may hate the method .. and thank him for the wake-up call.

🚨🇨🇦 Mass idol immersions dumping paint, plaster, plastics and heavy metals (lead, chromium, etc.) straight into Lake Huron and Lake Ontario at places like Wasaga Beach.
They come from countries where rivers are already toxic, bring the same habits here, and our Great Lakes become the new dumping ground.
Meanwhile everyday Canadians get lectured nonstop about plastic straws and paper bags “to save the planet.”
Double standard.
Selective enforcement.
Our freshwater is not a cultural free-for-all. This is what happens when Liberal immigration policy ran completely out of control for years:
record arrivals (hundreds of thousands of permanent residents + massive temporary resident surge that pushed non-permanent residents past 7% of the population), zero real integration requirements, and zero capacity planning for housing, hospitals, schools or the environment.
The result?
Strained infrastructure, skyrocketing housing costs, and now open pollution of the largest freshwater system on the continent while the same politicians lecture us about climate. The recent cuts to targets are a start, but the damage from years of open-floodgate policy is already here.
Canada First means protecting our lakes, our cities and our standards — not importing practices that treat them as disposable.
This has to stop.

🚨Just in time for back-to-school season… 🇨🇦
Ottawa’s temporary federal fuel-tax holiday ends September 7.
On September 8 the excise tax snaps back: 10¢/L on gasoline and 4¢/L on diesel.Parents driving kids to school, work, hockey practice, and grocery runs get the bill exactly when family mileage spikes.
The Liberals’ timing is impeccable… and despicable. They suspended the tax in April amid energy-price shocks, framed it as “affordability support,” then scheduled the full restoration for the first full week of the school year. That’s not an accident of the calendar — it’s choosing the moment when households are already stretched by new backpacks, activity fees, and longer daily drives.“Affordability” apparently means quietly raising the cost of moving a family around the moment the summer holiday ends.
Fuel is a foundational cost.
When it jumps, everything trucked to shelves, every school drop-off, and every extra practice run becomes more expensive.
Families don’t get a matching “back-to-school rebate.” They just pay more to keep the same routine.
The holiday was always temporary. Fair enough. But the deliberate return date right as school resumes is peak political cynicism: relief when it was convenient, the bill when families have the least flexibility.
Parents will notice it at the pump on Monday morning. The government already knew they would.
