My ancestors were Christians. I’m here to restore that to our family! Mormonism has robbed so many.

Can an 8 year old genuinely make the decision to join the Mormon church and be baptized?

The Church does not create the truth. It receives, preserves, and proclaims the truth entrusted to it by Christ through His apostles.

Unless you’re going to use scripture, I am not interested.

I notice that People love that the Lord gives, but they always forget that he also takes away. Why is that?

Some heresy flourishes because no one has objected to it.

I want to extend a challenge to my Christian brothers and sisters. On the first Sunday of the month, attend a Mormon fast and testimony meeting at a local LDS church. Approach the bishop or one of his counselors and ask if you may bear your testimony. If they ask what you’d like to share, simply tell them, “My testimony of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.” If they agree, take the opportunity to testify of the biblical gospel. Preach Christ crucified, salvation by grace alone through faith alone, and the sufficiency of His finished work. Let’s do it! If you’re a visitor, you need their permission to speak. If you’re still an LDS member, the invitation is implied. Let’s proclaim the true gospel of Jesus Christ!

You’ll be hard pressed to find a Mormon testimony about repentance.

Every time I read a Mormon testimony, I notice what’s missing: biblical repentance and turning from sin. It’s always, “I believe in Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and Jesus.” That’s great… but have you repented? Have you turned from your sin and submitted to the authority of Christ? Jesus commands us to repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). And repentance includes turning from idolatry. You cannot cling to a false gospel while claiming to follow the true Christ. Turn from the Mormon heresy. Repent, believe the gospel, and come to Christ alone!

For those of us who are Christians, there is no fear of death. Death is the entrance into the presence of the Lord.

Truth had to wait for Joseph Smith to set it free? You must be joking,

I'd heard there was a big Spiritualist movement during the 19th century, and I knew that Joseph Smith wasn't alone in all of this. But this goes way beyond what I knew. When you also start to see similar claims going on at the same time, it says a great deal about it all, doesn't it?

I got blocked for this? Can some LDS folks explain to me what happened here? I think he may have felt like his faith in Mormonism was slipping.
Joseph Smith is a prophet And Richard Adams is a prophet. And Pearl Lenore Curran is a prophetess And Jane Roberts is a prophetess And John Murray Spear is a prophet. And Andrew Jackson Davis is a prophet. And William Stainton Moses is a prophet And Hélène Smith is a prophetess So now what do we do?

@DanielProudfoot, I saw your comment. We can have that discussion if you want. Joseph Smith isn’t the only one to claim divine authority in his time. We should discuss John M Spear. He’s super cool. But I understand that you googled what you said and realized it wasn’t true.
