I think using the death of a child to fuel diaspora war talking points is really deplorable. Please stfu

For the people blaming the dad, Stop blaming Javits’ father for where he chose to raise his child. Living in the Bronx does not make him a bad parent, nor does it make him responsible for someone else's actions. Theres literally a whole Ghanaian community in the Bronx. Theres familiarity and support there. A father has lost his child. Show some compassion.

Then people on here saying Africans need to stick with Africans but there’s Africans who beef with Africans in Harlem all day long I don’t think this is a where you’re from issue it’s just people in this world who are sick and violent
👏👏👏👏
Government of Ghana’s statement on the tragic killing of Javits Frimpong in the Bronx, New York.
I have spoken to the father of Javits, Mr. Thomas Frimpong and directly conveyed the condolences of the Government and people of Ghana.
On my instructions, officials of our Permanent Mission in New York have visited the family and coordinating with local authorities.
The Foreign Ministry will work tirelessly with US authorities to ensure justice is secured.
The family of Javits and his loved ones remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant his lovely soul a peaceful repose.
For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
Nigga try again 🤣🤣🤣

The little boy Javits murder reminds me the little boy Juniors murder also in nyc few years ago. Both like 15, both being bullied (obviously for different reasons) by peers, then being killed. Lock em up and throw away the key.

A child is dead and they arguing over what the potential race/ethnicity of the child killer could be, we have bigger problems fr

THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL ONGOING.
Why the fuck are people speaking on any race when there is no confirmed details as of now?
I'm about to go head hunting to check people spewing literal misinformation.

Yes stop because it seems like your just fetching for something. You don’t know that man personally or what him or his family has going on.

I keep forgetting that people actively look to misunderstand you on this app on purpose & if you don’t fully flesh out a tweet with every type of nuance in the world to satisfy everyone, then you’re WRONG.
Y’all are exhausting.

That theory by the FBA woman who claims that FBAs descend from South Africans and colonizers are lying about them having West African ancestry is killing me because these people hate to be associated with West Africa so much. It's a mental illness at this point.

These kids today are EVIL. At worst, we would get jumped. Why shoot him?

A lot of people are using this 15 year olds death as a platform to spew negative sentiments about other Black people.
Not only is it disgusting, it shows you comprehension is a dying art.

Smh listening to Javitz Frimpong’s dad breaking down like that really fcked me up 💔 we be telling y’all how bad we get/got bullied for being African and the xenophobia and y’all stay tryna invalidate those experiences fr. Innocent teenager dead for no reason smh.
I agree and disagree.
Immigrants do need to do a better job when picking neighbours BUT at the same time they are choosing places they can afford and can feel a bit at home (Bronx has a sizeable Ghanaian community)
Yes Ghanaian government should offer some sort of help if possible, they have only been in the country for 1 year and I’m sure he wants his son to have an honourable burial back home, in which the repatriation of the body is far from cheap.
To those saying “isn’t there crime in Ghana”. The most recorded crimes in Ghana include scamming and robberies- NOT a child being shot on his way back from school. So please let’s be for real for a minute.
RIP Javits Frimpong 🕯️
This should teach us that not every city or neighbourhood is suitable for raising children. At some point, I question Javits Frimpong’s father’s decision to raise his son in the Bronx, where the crime rate is reportedly high and gang activities remain a concern in the neighbourhoods. As parents, we must be mindful of the environments in which we raise our children. Otherwise, they risk being exposed to violence, drugs and a life of crime. I hope the Government of Ghana intervenes and offers the family the necessary support during this difficult time. May we all learn from this tragedy, may his soul rest in peace. 💔 🕊️
