I’ve got brave readers. ‘Strays and Relations’ has been climbing in the French Alps. I can’t keep this little one safely on the shelf. It’s an adventurous little book.

Well, who knew? Not me, apparently. That going into your lovely local library to attempt to finally finish your manuscript could be so blooming marvellous. No phone, no distractions = no problem. I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow. @SilverCrowFrome

Today I was inches away from reversing my ancient Mini into a Tesla. Unusually, I glanced into the wing mirror. A lady stopped and remarked: ‘That was a lucky escape but don’t worry, I once reversed my Nova into a Morgan’ I think I love that lady.
