If the Ao3 outrage shows us anything, it's that a LOT of people really don't respect fanfic writers anymore and it SHOWS

people understand not reposting fanart to different places without consent but when it's fanfic it's lesser and not worth the same courtesy

I’m actually mad because it took all of five hours for people to start immediately turning on fic writers yet again. God forbid we pour our hearts and time into this hobby and don’t want to do it to a void? God forbid we don’t want our stuff reposted??

#rabbot The first time Jack kissed Robby, they were in med school. They were young and drunk and reckless, groping each other and making out messily in a dark corner at a house party. +

The last time Jack kissed Robby was in a hospital, the tears on Jack’s cheeks staining Robby’s cold skin. The gentle press of Jack’s lips communicated everything Robby needed to hear: I love you. Thank you. I forgive you. Please forgive me. +

As he took his final breath, Jack’s hand clasped in his own, Robby smiled to himself. He didn’t have a single regret in his mind; how could he regret anything after a lifetime spent kissing Jack Abbot?
