Rent Step 1 is on mainnet (Sept 3).
Account storage is ~9% cheaper.
New accounts already use the lower floor.

Sept 9: Transaction V1 — max tx size goes to 4,096 bytes.
• Mid-September
Rent Step 2 expected on mainnet (~27% cheaper vs the old rate), pending state-growth review.
• October
Alpenglow targeted.
Slot times keep stepping down toward 200ms on their own schedule.
