Rockstar should make GTA 6 a global launch rather than midnight if they want as many people as possible to watch the Heat event (A Night in Vice City) on November 18, and also to prevent early spoilers.
Currently, anyone with a New Zealand account will have GTA 6 unlocked 13 hours before the event even begins, so social media will be flooded with people discussing it instead of the event.
However, a midnight rollout for pre-loading makes total sense to help balance server strain when everyone starts downloading, but the actual release should be synchronized globally since there’s currently no online mode.
