Progress... Long-form editing takes a bit. But I hope to get a video out very soon about residency interviewing tips!

I know I said I was going to play around in Vroid. But then I decided to teach myself how to make a stinger.

Finished my 7 days on service, comatosed for a day, now back on the video shorts grind haha. I really want to try making a vroid in my art style. I tried this before, but Live2D is more my jam. Let's see how much I can get done this week before back to the hospital.

This!
Just something to put out here: “A confident attending builds a confident senior resident, who in turn empowers a confident junior resident, and the cycle continues. Confidence breeds confidence, and great mentorship creates generations of capable, empowered physicians”

It was a pleasure to attend the Osteopathic Medical Education Conference last week. We're thankful for everyone who stopped by our booth.

I do this procedure with my residents very often! The relief it provides the patient is amazing. Paracentesis, draining ascites for diagnostic and therapeutic reasons. Sometimes patients with advanced cirrhosis get it weekly.
Doctor decided to perform paracentesis, for a man who's having abdominal enlargement, this involves inserting a needle into the Peritoneal cavity of the abdomen to drain the fluid. Watch and see what was drained from his abdomen.

My debt is 450k ish. I am currently doing Public Service Loan Forgiveness and is probably the only way I could afford my education. Maybe it will motivate medschools to drop its prices? It won't, there is no regulation in set for this. It just creates a barrier for low-income...
Med students: starting July 2026, new borrowers can take at most $200,000 in federal loans for med school. Grad PLUS is gone. The rest comes from private lenders, with fewer protections. My debt was $300,000. My advice is to go to the cheapest school that accepts you. Debt can really drag your career.

I know the thought is doctors will eventually pay it off. But it is more difficult for PCP or general docs with "lower pay" to pay off these level of loans without financial help. So it will draw people away from these fields and create a bigger void in general medicine!

And we need more doctors wanting to go into general medicine fields!
