It must be a Successful Coach Thing. Baseball coaching legend Ron Polk planned every minute of his day, constantly looked at his watch, and if you asked him to do something he did not have planned, he would look at you and say “None Productive Time”.
Coach Saban when on recruiting trips visiting coaches and players had a habit of always looking down at his watch habitually. I never took it as him being rude but his mind was always on the next thing. Chess vs Checkers mentality. It was one of the key ingredients that made his DNA different than 99.999999%.

Good luck trying to sell Dr Keenum on that philosophy!

The goal is not to be in the black, genius. The goal is to win. Most of the best teams are in the red.

Aiden Teel is home, feeling good, and hopefully getting stitches out this week.

You have ABSOLUTELY no clue what Larry Templeton did for MSU. 21 years in the black with NO TV revenue. Do some research before popping off!!
Temptation did more damage to MSU literally by just being cheap for years🤬🤬🤬

Another former MSU athlete, Jeffrey Johnson (far left) stopped by. Jeff played basketball for Coach Rick Ray 20015/16. From left, Jeffrey, an old man, Tyrone Keyes’ son, and Tyrone. I’m so blessed to have established these relationships in my 43 years with MSU. HailState!!

What R the odds I’m sitting in the bus in downtown Chicago & Tyrone Keyes beats on the door? He made the tackle of the running back at the goal line in Alabama 6-3 game in 1980. Billy Jackson recovered the fumble to seal the win. Great player, great pro career. HailState!!

Update on Aiden Teel: Says he is feeling good and will go home soon. I don’t know if that means today. Great spirits. Was trying to give me some sass.

Aiden Teel underwent surgery yesterday for a tumor on his spine, diagnosed during a MLB physical. He and MSU fans wondered why his performance last season was not what he wanted. Cudos to him for trying to play through it! Speedy recovery, my friend. Once a DAWG, Always a DAWG

Really appreciate this guy running me down in Minneapolis. Mario Austin will be inducted into the M Club Hall of Fame next week, and so deserving. Living in Minnesota, but loving Mississippi State.

Will miss you Big Guy! Just remember baseball@ Dudy Noble is right around the corner, and you will ALWAYS be welcome!
Gonna miss hanging with the boys. For nine years we talked ball, family, life, careers, and had a little fun while doing it. We’ll all be on your tv this fall, just from different paces. These two will never have as bigger fan than me.

Thanks Ben. What a career and what an era in college baseball!!
My heart is broken this morning….we have lost Coach Bertman. The best to ever fill out a lineup card….the man who changed college baseball forever and the man who built the best baseball program in the country @LSUbaseball As great a coach he was, even a better man that touched countless lives! So thankful I got to see him last night and tell him how much I loved him 1 more time! 🙏💜💛 #15 #4everLSU

Mississippi and Mississippi State lost an icon this morning. Former Tupelo High School and Mississippi State Head Basketball Coach Kermit Davis Sr. passed away peacefully with his family. Prayers and condolences to Kermit Jr, Miss Nancy, Bill, Jennifer, and their families.
