Sold Quantity .si at auction for $125 😬
I had listed it for auction and thought I had already canceled it. When I realized it was still active, I went to cancel it, only to discover that someone had already placed a bid 🤦
I also own Quantities.si

Superintelligence.ly available for sale
Sold. It expires in about a month, and since I wasn’t planning to renew it, I decided to lower the price.
injection.si
It’s time to inject the next leap from ai to si.
This makes me even more confident that I made the right move when I acquired atm .app
Hey @MichaelArnaldi , you’ve got Effectful .co and Effect .website, but somehow Effectss.com is still out there.
Just thought I’d put it on your radar.
Gname auction system is making serious bidding unnecessarily difficult.
I really like @gnamedotcom, and their support team has been excellent in my experience. Fast, responsive, and genuinely helpful.
But their auction deposit system needs to be reconsidered.
Why should I have to deposit and lock 20% of my intended bid just to participate in an auction?
And if someone outbids me?
I have to lock another 20% based on the new amount just to continue bidding.
Imagine an auction going from $1,000 → $2,000 → $3,000 → $5,000.
You’re not simply bidding anymore. You’re constantly moving more money into the platform and locking it just to keep participating.
For serious domain investors, especially those bidding on multiple names, this can tie up a substantial amount of capital for no real reason.
I understand the logic behind it. Gname wants to make sure bidders actually have the money and prevent winners from walking away without paying.
But there are other ways to enforce that.
If someone wins an auction and refuses to pay, ban the account from future auctions. Make the consequences serious enough that people have an incentive to honor their bids.
That seems much more reasonable than forcing every legitimate bidder to repeatedly deposit and lock additional funds every time the auction price increases.
And there’s another problem. Deposited funds aren’t simply available to withdraw whenever you want, which makes the whole process even more restrictive.
I honestly don’t understand why a bidder should need to keep capital locked up just to have the option to bid.
The auction should be about who is willing to pay the most, not who is willing to keep the most money locked inside the platform.
Gname has a great platform and, in my experience, great customer support.
But this particular system feels unnecessarily complicated and unlike what domain investors are accustomed to elsewhere.
I really hope Gname takes another look at this.
Simplify the bidding. Keep the accountability. Give serious bidders more flexibility.

And boy, do we love this domain – in our vision, it's our seven-figure asset of the future.
Imagine this domain in the city.
In March we sold Longevity.app for $75K, which inspired this acquisition.
Congrats @slobizman.
Clarification from Spaceship
Replying to @DomainXGuru
We would like to clarify that this recovery option can be managed in your account settings. You can disable password resets using your username or domain name under Security Center > Recovery Settings > Other reset options. Once disabled, you can reset your password only if you know the email address associated with your Spaceship account.
⚠️ Important warning for domain investors and @spaceship users
Today, I received an email from Spaceship saying that a request had been made to manage my login credentials, including resetting/updating my password or passkey — but I never made this request.
I don’t know if this was a random attempt or if someone is actively targeting accounts, but if you hold valuable domains, it’s worth taking seriously.
Make sure to:
• Enable 2FA (two-factor authentication).
• Use a strong, unique password
• Secure the email connected to your account with 2FA as well.
• Never click suspicious login or password-reset links.
• Pay attention to any unexpected security emails.
🔐 Secure your account before someone else gets the chance to.
🔸 Update
Someone told me that among Spaceship’s account recovery options, there is an option to recover an account using a domain name.
That may explain the recovery email I received earlier even though I never requested it. Someone may have entered one of my domains and triggered the recovery process.
If that’s the case, this option creates an unnecessary opening for phishing and social engineering.
Spaceship should consider removing the domain-based recovery option and keeping recovery limited to more private identifiers such as email, username, or phone number.

And as the agent economy grows, it should have a sector of its own: AgentSect.com
Every AI agent needs a name. Every name needs to resolve somewhere. Every resolution runs on DNS.
You can build the most sophisticated multi-step autonomous agent on the planet and it still needs a domain to authenticate, communicate, and transact. You don’t see people remembering IP addresses, 30-character wallet addresses prone to hacks, nor phone numbers. But you see them remembering names like agent. Ai .com.
agent@yourbrand .com isn't just an email. It's a trust anchor.
Domains are Al's identity layer whether anyone builds for it intentionally or not.
Great domain, But if your startup doesn't have a $3.75M budget yet, Protocolium.com offers that same high-tech authority for just $12k
Looks like Protocol.com was recently listed for sale on @atomHQ for $3.75 million.
Nice domain name.
