Dominick Cruz

Dominick Cruz says he was getting PIECED UP by pro boxers he would spar, saying their distance management and pressure is NEXT LEVEL 🔥 🗣️DC: “I brought a top 15 guy in the WBC one time and after 4 rounds bro, if I were to have to go 5…” 🗣️JV: “It’s the footwork, it’s in the calf bro.” 🗣️DC: “This one guy put it on my one time bro. I’ve had some pro boxers that are just sharp, and they’re doing what you’re doing. I swing and the punch misses em by a centimeter and they’re just right in my face again…” (Via Love & War with @DominickCruz / YT)

Joshua Van speaks about being INJURED during his fight camp leading up to his title defense against Alexandre Pantoja, saying he couldn’t spar until the last 2 weeks, and luckily healed a week early due to the UFC giving him stem cell shots 😳🤔 “It was irritating, you want to do all this stuff, but you can’t really do it because you can’t even lift your arm…” “I noticed the UFC, and shoutout to Jane man she made all these appointments for me, MRIs and things like that, we found out it was a tear and they gave me a stem cell shot. You know how they say 2 weeks off, but it was already 5 weeks out so I was like “How am I supposed to take these 2 weeks off?” I was doing nothing but running.” “The last 2 weeks I had my first sparring, and I was still hesitant to throw my right… I think it was a week left, coach don’t want me to spar no more, but I was like “I gotta get my timing, let me spar one more time”and right before I came here (LA) I had my last sparring” (Via Love & War with @DominickCruz / YT)
