When I was a little kid my grandma used to call pants “shorts” all the time and it used to bug ts out of me. For example she’d tell me “its not too cold outside, but it’d be a good idea to put shorts on.” Then tell me “no its too cold for your swim trunks grab your shorts.” Lol
