Two years ago I started composing my first ever game soundtrack, and it’s hard to believe we’re so close to finally releasing it!

I started a new youtube channel where I do screen recordings with OBS and use a DSLR camera to speak with the viewer…. During my recording session today I made it all the way to the end of my session and realized I forgot to hit record on OBS 🤪 good times haha
Thank you @paulavaynshteyn for letting me share my story on Indie Voices! Some people may know that I had a massive music burnout for years, but this is the full story about it, and how I came back from it.
This week's indie voices comes to us from @DonRobertsMusic and it's all about burnout and coming back from it with an unexpected opportunity.
This one feels SUPER personal for me, as I'm still working my way back from my own burnout and some days are a struggle.

First we've got an incredible write-up from @shadesofsilver on the nature of marketing indie games and some amazing tips for indie devs; I had a lesson or two while editing!
And @3rdEchoSounds has written about how GenAI has negatively impacted his work as a composer, and how he thinks we should keep pushing to produce regardless. He's gloriously stubborn, and I appreciate that!
I'm SUPER happy and blessed that these two have trusted TNT (and by extension, me) with their words and I can't wait for you all to read them!
I've been rattling around the TNT virtual hallways alone for far too long, so now I'm handing over the metaphorical microphone with Indie Voices.
We've all read or listened to countless interviews with developers, talking about their game and the development process. But what happens when you take away the questions and prompts, and instead invite someone to tell whatever story they think needs to be heard?
Don't you think it would be fun to find out?
Indie Voices is a new project on TNT where indie devs and anyone involved with indie games can tell their own stories.
I'm starting small and inviting a handful of people to contribute while I figure out what the hell I'm doing, but I'll be opening Indie Voices for submissions soon.
You don't need to be a writer, and English does not need to be your first language. I'll handle editing, uploading, and all the backend SEO nonsense.
TNT is my voice, but your voices deserve to be heard too. 💜

I love Woodo so much. I got 100% for the second time, first on Steam and now on Nintendo Switch, and the game only released a week ago.
I let my mom play the demo and she loved it, so I bought the game for her too.
