After talking to several NFL teams and GMs over the last hour, my expectation is the trade deadline will be even crazier than anticipated. Chicago’s all-in move will cause other teams to react and try to be bold as well.
In the words of one source: “All hell is going to break loose over the next week and a half. Get your popcorn ready.”

The Vikings own an additional 2027 3rd from the Eagles, which could become an important piece to a Jonathan Taylor trade.
Minnesota sending their 2027 2nd + 3rd via Philadelphia already gets them close in pick value to the Christian McCaffrey trade from 2022.
The Bengals and Broncos are also showing very strong trade interest towards Taylor.

Jonathan Taylor is a great player. He rushed for 1,585 yards and 18 TDs last year. But only 7 different RBs have earned AP first team All Pro honors at age 27+ over the last 20 seasons. He’s not done, but you are likely buying a dip vs recent output.
