Finance Minister Champagne has already signalled he is going to push this easily refuted nonsense during the Budget
MY QUESTION IS will the media/commentariat call the Liberal government out?
PS it's nonsense - Canada is the only G7 nation that ignores the IMF & OECD standardized accounting frameworks set out in the Government Financial Statistics Manual. Instead, treats roughly $900 billion in CPP, QPP pension assets held in trust for workers as their own cash.

There is a new generation of aboriginal leaders who want a united and strong Canada
For decades, the courts have defined the duty to consult under Section 35 of the Constitution. Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), reflected in DRIPA, goes beyond established case law and raises questions about balancing broader societal interests.
Repealing DRIPA offers an opportunity to restore investment certainty, strengthen Indigenous economic partnerships, and deliver prosperity for all British Columbians.
It’s also important to remember the Indigenous leaders that advocate for investment stability and economic growth.

Clueless or does he think we are
Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne: "We have the lowest net debt to GDP ratio in the G7"
This oft repeated boast is more than misleading. Canada is the only G7 nation that ignores the IMF and OECD standardized accounting frameworks set out in the Government Financial Statistics Manual. Instead, Ottawa pads its balance sheet by treating roughly $900 billion in worker pension assets as government cash—as if politicians can raid funds held in trust for retirees to pay down national debt.

🚨BREAKING: Jeremy Clarkson is facing fresh calls from the left to be CANCELED after he weighed in on the Muslim grooming gangs scandal and said it is not racist to investigate a rapist.
His exact words: “It’s not racist to investigate a rapist! We need to remove the shackles of political correctness from the police.”
In his column, Clarkson argued that police must be freed from the fear of being labeled racist if they pursue these cases. He wrote that a young girl could report being raped by a gang of Pakistani men only to be dismissed because officers know they risk cancellation for reporting it.
Clarkson said another public inquiry is unnecessary because the problem is already clear, and the real obstacle has been the refusal to confront the ethnicity of the perpetrators without being accused of bigotry. The comments have drawn sharp criticism online from activists who claim he is stoking racism, with some calling for advertisers and platforms to drop him.
This is the same pattern that has followed Clarkson for years whenever he says something "politically incorrect".

A major political crisis erupted in Poland yesterday. Some are referring to it as an attempted coup.
Yet nothing is being reported by CTV, CBC and Global news.
Does it have anything to do with Carney wanting Canada to join the EU while Poland wants to get out? Not great timing with Carney’s EU Summit so - Canadian news media are silence.
Thanks to @elonmusk, Canadians no longer have to rely on the Liberal friendly media in Canada to decide which stories we’re allowed to know about.

The $1.3 trillion national debt.
The debt is going up $2,000 every second.

What does associate membership in the European Union actually mean for Canada?
Would it mean adopting EU taxes? EU immigration policies? Other EU regulations and policies that will dictate Canadian legislation? How much taxpayer dollars will go to European causes?
Mark Carney suggested that closer ties with the EU would increase Canadians' freedoms. But how exactly would that work? How does aligning ourselves with a distant political and economic union give Canadians more freedom?
Building a strong independent Canada should mean strengthening our borders, protecting our national identity, defending our values and freedoms, and preserving our sovereignty.
What does the EU know about the needs of Skeena—Bulkley Valley? What does EU know about the challenges facing our communities?
Canadians deserve to know exactly what closer alignment with the EU would mean for our sovereignty and our ability to make decisions for ourselves.

Apparently, Canadian sovereignty is SACRED when America is involved…
But when Europe starts talking about aligning our courts, policies and governance, suddenly it’s something worth applauding?
Funny how that works.
