Let me get this straight.
@GregAbbott_TX gives $2B in tax breaks to his largest campaign donor Musk, then appoints his hand-picked comptroller to administer & oversee compliance of those incentives, who also has financial stake in Musk’s companies.
They really are selling Texas
Comptroller Don Huffines is manager of a venture capital firm that invests in SpaceX.
He didn't include it in his personal finance disclosure required of candidates.
The Comptroller administers upward of $1.7B in tax breaks for SpaceX.

A temporary restraining order was granted Monday after Hinojosa requested records between Abbott and Musk. kvue.com/article/news/politi…

Replying to @GovHotWheels_TX
We learned today that you recently accepted a $5M campaign contribution from Elon Musk, the person you shared “intimate and embarrassing” emails with but won’t reveal to Texans.
That’s shameful.

Hinojosa is a lion for getting this stuff leaked
🚨 BREAKING from @politico >>>
Senior @GregAbbott_TX staff held secret closed door meeting with Big Tech to "remove roadblocks" for bringing more data centers to Texas.
Two days later, ERCOT announced plan to get them connected to state grid even faster.

I’m not sure who Sharia is? But I know @GinaHinojosaTX don’t support Data centers and Abbott is bank rolled by them.

First it was selling public beaches to Elon, now it’s handing the Texas power grid over to Big Tech.
Abbott took $9M from data center special interests — $2.8M of it after promising to freeze grid approvals. Two days after a closed-door meeting with OpenAI, Google, and Meta, state officials miraculously fast-tracked their power lines.

Bombshell: Greg Abbott’s senior team met secretly with Big Tech two days before the state made it easier and faster for data centers to connect to Texas’s electrical grid.
In Greg Abbott’s Texas, billionaires come first and Texans come last.

Is Texas a state that is by and for the people, or is this the trillionaire’s world and we just live here?
After Elon Musk donated $500k to Abbott’s reelection campaign, SpaceX received a $30M state grant and $1.66B JETI tax break to build a semiconductor factory in Texas.
Texans deserve answers.
🚨 BREAKING: Texas state Rep. Gina Hinojosa has filed an official request to inspect unredacted communications between Gov. Greg Abbott’s office and Elon Musk and his companies, after roughly 1,400 pages of records released last year were heavily redacted.
The state previously argued that portions of the communications could be withheld because they contained “intimate and embarrassing information.”
In a letter sent to Abbott’s office today, Hinojosa invokes a provision of the Texas Public Information Act governing information requested by lawmakers for legislative purposes. She is seeking the same records previously released to the Texas Newsroom, but “without any redactions whatsoever,” including material deemed “embarrassing” or “intimate.”
Hinojosa says the records could shed new light on Musk’s relationship with Abbott, including his companies’ lucrative state contracts and tax incentives, as well as Musk’s campaign contributions. She argues Musk has turned Texas into a corporate playground and says greater transparency is needed to expose what she describes as corruption in Abbott’s relationship with powerful tech interests.
She is requesting that Abbott’s office arrange an inspection of both the redacted and unredacted records on or around October 13.
Now Texans may finally learn what was considered so “intimate and embarrassing” that it was kept from public view.

Elon Musk has given Greg Abbott $500K in campaign cash.
Musk's companies have received $1.6 billion in tax incentives and $30 million in grants funded by Texas taxpayers.
Texans deserve to know what else he's gotten in return.
