It’s a fallacy to say Texans want “school choice” based on the March 2024 primary. Voter turnout was lower than 2020 primaries. Only 18% of all voters participated in the 2024 primaries. Less than 13% of Republican voters participated. Put it on the ballot and let Texans vote

This debate has nothing to do with the border, all Texans want that solved. This has everything to do with special interest issues, including school choice. And I think you understand that but would rather spin a false narrative

Not all Texans do @brianeharrison The 17th amendment to the Constitution calls for the direct election of Senators. Providing this power to the state legislature nullifies that provision in my opinion. Would you be ok if county commissioners could remove you from office?
