Women should never be online. Men and women were never meant to handle more than a hundred social connections and faces. Women are especially vulnerable. Whereas men tend to tribalize and see enemies even online, women are biologically predisposed toward cooperation and being agreeable.
The internet is a maelstrom of presumably real people engaging with other real people to agree with their ideology, neuroses, feelings, and validate them generally. To a woman, a being Nature-crafted to be mothering and agreeable, all of these voices require supplication. Their instincts subverted, they're sucked into horrific vortexes where distinctions, facts, and objective, forensic evidence doesn't matter.
The internet is a mass psychosis machine. A warp space, anti-reality that psychically drains intellect and soul. I don't jest. This is not hyperbole. Keep your souls. Have a real, tender, and meaningful talk with your beloveds about what they see and engage with online.

The other biggest point is that the Jedi code was so sacrosanct that it could never be violated whenever the code gave a negative outcome for Anakin, but suddenly, when the Jedi code was finally in his favor and dictated keeping Palpatine alive, instead, Palpatine was to be killed in blatant violation of the code.
The Jedi all of a sudden were willing to throw the code out the window when it benefited them, but never when it benefited Anakin. Which is why Mace Windu, instead, ends up thrown out the window.
I wonder why young guys relate to this story so much and find it so compelling.

They fail at being epic operas even more than they fail at realism. The writing and acting is mostly flat and boring. Same goes for the cinematography. There’s nothing operatic about it. Epic perhaps in theory but certainly not in execution. You guys have created a version of the Star Wars prequels in your heads (a version that sounds pretty interesting, if only it existed) and have grafted it onto the actual films which in reality fail at whatever they were trying to do, unless they were trying to be verbose, clumsy, wooden, and bland.
It’s very clear to the rest of us that the people trying to rehab the Star Wars prequels are just nostalgic for something that they enjoyed as kids. That’s fine. I have a nostalgic attachment to some crappy 90s movies like Independence Day for example. It came out when I was 10 and at the time it seemed to me like the greatest cinematic achievement in history. But then I grew up and I can now see that Will Smith punching an alien and saying “welcome to earf” is not a high point of western art. And that’s fine. It’s stupid but I still remember it fondly. You don’t have to try so hard to intellectualize some dumb bullshit you liked when you were a kid. It’s okay. It can just be dumb bullshit, which it is.

The most honorable thing I have ever seen a man do is to go to a job he hates, and be surrounded by people he doesn’t like, day after day, year after year, because the people he loves are counting on him.
I’ve been red pilled, black pilled, white pilled, clear pilled. All the pills.
I don’t even know which one this is, but it’s one of the strongest ones I’ve had in a long long time. The desperation in his voice. You can see the sight of his kids in his eyes when he says he’s supposed to be home with them. You can see the math he’s doing in his head as he calculates how much money he has left, and how much he needs for his mortgage, and when it’s due.
What the hell is the American dream anymore? Is this what it’s about? Is there anyone who would say this guy isn’t working his ass off? For what? So that 25% of his income can go to a government that wastes it on a bunch of shit he didn’t vote for? Subsidizing the food he stocks grocery stores with for people who don’t work a 1,000th of how hard he works to buy groceries with EBT cards that he pays for, which then drives up the cost of groceries for him and his family that he pays for out of his paycheck because he’s doing it the right way.
This entire system is shit. It’s shit. There is no nicer way to put it. It is dog. shit.
This guy should be working a 9-5 at a job that gives him dignity so that he can be at home with his kids at a decent time. Instead he’s some jerk off’s content. His stressed out, end of his rope reaction is some asshole’s income.
This is bleak stuff. Absolutely bleak.
