We're sorry to announce that DownUnderCTF 2026 is being postponed for this year. We know this is disappointing news, but ultimately we don't believe we can deliver the high quality CTF you love and come to expect.

AI use in competitions also has us scratching our heads about how to make fully online CTFs fair and competitive without sacrificing the fun.
As a volunteer led initiative started in 2020 by uni students, most of us are now full time professionals with limited free time and availability, and we're starting to feel the burnout.
