Everyone at Big Finish is very sad to learn of the death of John Leeson earlier today. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by us all.
A full tribute will be published later this week.
ALT JOHN LEESON 1943 - 2026
I never had the pleasure of meeting John but those who know me. Know how much I adore K9 and his portrayal of that character. Even with the modulation the warmth of his voice proved that K9 could be anyone’s best friend. I would have loved to have shared with him.
He was the best tin dog a man could ask for.
Just seen that John Leeson has died. The main voice of K9. Going back to the 70s 🫶🫶
The 70s Silurian design is the best one they ever had. while i don't mind the 80s ones. The 70s ones are so full of life. They are beautiful
Things have and continue to slide the wrong way. I’m booked in to see the doctors again in a couple of weeks. But at this point I’m so exhausted of it all. It’s weird. It’s not like my usual crashes where it’s quite intense but I bounce back. It’s just been a steady decline
Post coming on my insta in the coming days on the 4th Doctor Set but the Yeti is coming together. Holds together much better than the original K1 Collect and Build and is really hefty! Almost Done now!
I’ve never been more seated.
So excited

Life advice. Turn off every Ai feature in your phone unplug your Alexa or Google home. Buy media physically. Make something manually and put time and effort into it. Use your brains and do it manually.
What the fuck are we doing. It’s pure fucking shite. Why are we generating art. Hire an artist. Hire people. Use your brain. Make something yourself. Stop offloading
