What works for some doesn’t work for all! 😆 This goes for mental skills too! There are so many different strategies & approaches to performance. Find an adaptive strategy that you like. You don’t have to do something just because you teammate, coach, parent does it.

Why this works: Because your brain’s defense for you feeling uncomfortable is to have you think it’s “too much,” hence stacking thoughts to protect you from something it thinks you need protecting from. “This needs structure” focuses on taking action & shifts brain to solutions.

The power of unity. Crowd of many backgrounds came together for a common goal - lift the singer up & help him through. This is what leaders/coaches strive for. Find the build the relationship, common vision, create buy-in then step back & let the team run. Truly beautiful!

Choices. We all have them. Choosing to not engage can help you build emotion regulation, emotional control, & more adaptive responses to conflict or confrontation. Identifying your choices before responses is powerful!

🚨#BREAKING: A police officer in Phoenix has rented out an ENTIRE 144-SEAT MOVIE THEATER for over 100 middle schoolers after their end-of-year field trip fell through, so they could see Toy Story 5.
