I like rugby league but please this World Cup is very sad - leave it at state of origin and internationals between comparable teams - this is just embarrassing for a very good sport
So again u15 World Cup - why? It’s not even normal football rules - 8v8/ unlimited subs/ smaller pitch - seriously why? If only 20% of those that represent at u17 level develop into full internationals this will be less than 5%
So a club gets this hours before kickoff - not Monday or Tuesday or even Wednesday / if this is @FootballAUS why so long?
I tried to watch the Australian Championships @FootballAUS but looks like it’s filmed with an IPhone - surely the coverage can be of higher quality
Hate to be critical but that Sydney derby was hard to watch - can argue first game of the season BUT 16 weeks of a preseason would make you think we could expected something of high quality
I don't like targeting individual players and GK but week in week out points are being lost @SydneyFC And there is a GK legend sitting on the bench
When you realise that you know very little and you have more wrong than right, you can start to progress
The obvious time wasting tactics by @brisbaneroar are an obvious issue and coaches directing players as part of tactics again is a philosophical problem BUT the inability of the officials to manage the game is the bigger issue - a horrendous performance by the officials
The repercussions of incompetent leadership extend far beyond the individuals at the top. Teams suffer as morale plummets and motivation wanes. Employees become disengaged, leading to increased turnover, decreased productivity, and a toxic work environment.
Is there any emphasis at all on the psychological development of players/athletes in youth development programs?
When was the last time you asked your players/athletes what they think of the training program/ development regime
There is obviously something incredibly dangerous about this field that week after week games are cancelled because the sky isn’t blue
