Instead of feeling hopeless here is something constructive you can do. Just as you might do a course in First Aid or CPR, you can also train in suicide first aid. I’ve done the course & feel more confident & much less scared of saying the wrong thing ❤️ #skillup @LivingWorksAus
Covid-19 has impacted all our lives, and with Victoria’s harsh lockdown laws being extended there’s concerns over the mental health impact. Aussies are being urged to take part in a ‘suicide first aid’ course, teaching the basics of how you can talk to someone in need.

A core skill of emotional intelligence is treating your feelings as a rough draft. Like art, emotions are works in progress. It rarely serves you well to frame your first sketch. As you gain perspective, you can revise what you feel. Sometimes you even start over from scratch.

Once again; this isn’t about just 5 nations. They were named since they are the highest emitters that have ratified the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, on which the complaint is built. China, USA, Saudi Arabia, Russia etc haven’t. Visit childrenvsclimatecrisis.org/ for more.
