โOh boy another directors commentary! Last time they said some gross shit about Valentino โnot knowing what consent isโ and that was off putting. Surely this time theyโre going to be a little more respectful talking about characters that involve SAโโ
So apparently one of the funny behind-the-scenes reasons for Vox hating Angel is that one of the writers isnโt particularly fond of Angel because heโs โtoo soft,โ and some of that energy ended up in Voxโs dialogue.
But now Iโm REALLY curious about the actual in-universe reason Vox hates him.
Could it have something to do with Valentino?
Theyโve said that Val does have a certain kind of โloveโ for Angel, so maybe Vox sees Angel as some sort of romantic rival for Valentinoโs attention. But that would make Vox even more contradictory, because heโs completely obsessed with Alastor while apparently not wanting to lose Val either.
Honestly, Vox is such a complicated mess when it comes to relationships.
Or maybe Angel did something else to Vox that we simply donโt know about yet. I really hope we eventually find out whether his hatred is jealousy over Valentino or if thereโs a completely different history between them.
Because now I NEED to know why Vox canโt stand Angel so much.
