I can’t do many of my hobbies anymore (can’t import anything without huge fees or packages being destroyed by customs), can’t upgrade any of my computer hardware, have to be careful of what/where I eat because of diarrhea diseases… seems like stuff SUCKS COMPLETE SHIT compared to a few years ago

Gas prices are the highest I’ve ever seen them, but on the plus side, I’m still paying tons of massive fees on packages that I ordered even though they were ruled illegal
We need food production more than we will ever need automated CSAM factories.
Fine if people want to use their private property rights to reject extremely generous deals, but the way this is framed implies data centers are shifty for offering farmers crazy amounts of money. Older farmer goes on a crazy confused rant about food disappearing and they just air it without comment or clarification.

It would be nice if some of the Twitter diaspora returned. So many creatives, but also many developers, that generally enriched the experience are no longer active.
Those that performatively left and those with a seething hatred of Elon probably won’t be back soon, but a lot of people just disengaged on vague cultural grounds that can be reevaluated.
There are probably some technical tweaks to the algorithm that could make them more comfortable. I don’t mind the existence of independent echo chambers that people are happy within. There is only a problem when some echo chambers are allowed and others aren’t.
Reach out to lapsed friends!
A lot of people that don't live here are very upset today.
Congratulations Katie.
We took on a powerful incumbent who was expected to coast to reelection.
We faced more corporate PAC money than has ever been spent attacking a candidate in a Seattle election.
We built a people-powered movement rooted in hope for our city’s future.
And we won.
Based on Jay Jones' polling numbers and victory, I would like to announce my candidacy for president of the United States in 2028 with a platform of "Everyone should be given a rifle and a mandate to hunt billionaires like animals"
