In the world of Kaidro, a Kaidro is a Source Bearer, someone capable of taking energy from the astral realm and bringing it into the physical world.
Ava possesses an especially powerful, unfiltered ability to do this. But she isn't the only Kaidro. Others exist throughout the world, many remaining hidden.
Kaidros are tied to the planet's consciousness and serve as shepherds, helping carry spirits that have passed from the physical world into the planet's consciousness.
And at the heart of it all is a deeply personal inspiration: the creators' own fathers.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones you never planned for.
In 2018, a trip to China brought Peggy Chung and Robert Simons to an event connecting entertainment, Hollywood, games, and technology. But what made the moment even more special was seeing ArtCenter College of Design at the center of it all, the place where Peggy and Robert met, learned their craft, created Gadget-Bot, and began developing the story of Kaidro.
Years after those early beginnings, they were standing in China presenting the very worlds they had started creating at ArtCenter.

Three reasons why your world building is falling apart! @kaidrochronicle
3 things:
1. Writing for consequences. Don't just write about something cool instead of its consequences. Your lore must have consequences!
2. Main Character Syndrome. If your world pauses when your protagonist leaves the scene, your world feels fake. You need a living ecosystem.
3. The "Lore Bible" trap. Lore is not a narrative. The ultimate test of world building is forcing your characters to survive it and committing that story to print. Make it first, make it great later!
