My God…Stop It!! Stop the torture…
If you’re a doctor participating in this madness, just stop it! Y’all are killing us! When did med school start teaching ‘first do some harm’ & ‘how to be a sadist~Ghouls!

Both parties have had full control of the government multiple times in 30 years.
Healthcare is still broken.
Housing is still unaffordable.
Wages are still stagnant.
At some point, the argument that one side is the solution stops being believable.

It is SICK, DISGUSTING, and EVIL to deny a patient in pain proper, appropriate, clinically indicated opioid pain medications - PERIOD!

They love to torture.. instead of heal and comfort their patients.. they are socially rewarded for cruelty in the Klodney PROP SLOP anti-opiod CULT.

A new bill would finally move drug scheduling decisions from the DEA to health officials.
Each drug would get one rating for risk and a separate one for medical value.
That's real progress. But read who sits on the expert committee: addiction medicine, toxicology, substance-use services.
Still no seat set aside for pain patients.
HHS just admitted yesterday they counted prescriptions. Not patients.
Now they're building the next system… and still not counting us.

Physicians have willfully given up their medical authority and autonomy to become glorified parole officers.

I love when doctors say to "avoid stress" as if we can just unsubscribe from this shitty world

Honestly, I don’t want technology to advance any further. I think we need more gardens, more front porches and fewer screens.

Look, this scapegoating of MDs was Chinese, Russian, Iranian propaganda to keep the focus away from the real source of poisonings, which would lead back to them. Leftist academia pushed this into law and now we have ppl being euthanized. This has to stop.

Sometimes when someone looks at me through the lens of opioid pain medication, they aren’t actually seeing me.
They’re seeing the person they lost.
A son.
A daughter.
A husband.
A wife.
A brother.
A friend.
Someone whose life was consumed by addiction or ended by an overdose.
And I understand why the word opioid can carry grief, fear, anger, even rage after that.
I genuinely do.
If you buried someone you loved, I would never tell you that your fear is irrational.
But this is where it becomes unfair to chronic pain patients:
I cannot become a substitute defendant for someone else’s tragedy.
I am not the person you lost.
My prescription is not their story.
My diagnosis is not their addiction.
And treating my pain does not dishonor someone who died.
Two devastating truths can exist at the same time:
People have died from addiction and overdose.
And people living with severe chronic pain can suffer tremendously when effective pain treatment is taken away.
Compassion has to be big enough to hold both.
We should be able to fight addiction without treating every chronic pain patient like an addict-in-waiting.
We should be able to acknowledge the devastation of overdose deaths without requiring another suffering population to pay the price.
Their grief is real.
Addiction is real.
Our chronic pain is real too.
We can mourn the people we’ve lost without making the people still here suffer for it.

Rules for thee, not for me.
For years we were told to “follow the money” on Purdue, the Sacklers, and the opioid industry.
Fine. I agree.
But then follow all the money.
Indivior. Pacira. Vertex. Addiction-treatment companies. Drug-testing companies. Plaintiff firms. Mass-tort lawyers. Paid experts. Litigation consultants. Advocacy groups.
If Purdue funding matters, their funding matters too.
Same with kratom. Plaintiff lawyers have a formal Kratom Litigation Group. Litigation consultants are working kratom cases while also showing up in policy fights. Addiction-treatment interests are showing up too.
So disclose it.
Who pays you?
Who do you work for?
What lawsuits are you involved in?
Who benefits if the policy passes?
And yes, the same rule applies outside drug policy.
You want scrutiny of AIPAC?
Great. Me too.
But then bring the same scrutiny to CAIR and every other advocacy group trying to influence U.S. policy.
Before anyone screams because I mentioned Israel, ask yourself why “follow the money” suddenly becomes sacred for one side and optional for another.
Transparency that only applies to the people you already hate isn’t transparency.
Imagine hating capitalism but supporting mass tort lawyers.

Making patients start from the beginning after they already ran the gauntlet and landed on opiates as an effective treatment for their pain is NOT okay. It's inhumane and doctors who do this need to stop and believe their patient.

I was going thru my old medical records last night. Good grief - I'd forgotten so many things I'd gone thru! And now they want me to start at the beginning again? I'm 70 & been surviving this for 40 years.

UNLESS you are one of the 60M Americans living with intractable pain!
Then you have NO rights!
Our Federal Government has been providing financial incentives to Drs. who use YOU as a guinea pig for non-FDA approved but cleared procedures & off-label RX experimentation!
TRUTH!
I couldn’t be more excited that we now have a pain rehabilitation center *insert seething GenX sarcasm here*. You actually have a life ring you grifting clown, multimodal therapies are far more effective when the volume is turned down.

The irony is hard to miss.
Doctors are expected to treat every patient as an individual to keep their license…
While people with no medical training write laws that make individualized care nearly impossible.
Am I the only one that sees a problem with this system?
