Inception probably had me most on the edge of my seat by the finale.
Return of the King at the end of the day after watching the first two extended editions in the theater beforehand was incredibly satisfying. – at Nashville, TN

BREAKING: President Whitmore himself will climb into the cockpit and lead American pilots in today's engagement. The Desert Storm veteran flew 27 missions over the Persian Gulf in 1990-91, but his toughest assignment yet may be this morning over the friendly sands of the Mojave.

I mean, there’s nothing like buying out an effective player who wants to play here and has wanted to play here for a long time and then buying out one of the most loved players in the locker room to make an emphasis on “culture” lol.
Barry Trotz has clearly placed an emphasis on one thing as #preds GM: Culture.
Matt Duchene had 3 years remaining at $8 million AAV.
His buyout calculation, per @CapFriendly, is not pretty. For two of those seasons, there is a $5.5 and $6.5 million cap charge.
I want to be a @PredsNHL fan, but all my favorite players are now gone. Still a STH, but this is a harder sell to keep my kids interested when I keep introducing them to players, they cheer for them, and then I have to tell them that they are gone.
Maybe it’s just how the algorithms are for me, but I feel like a Twitter thread is often an argument ping-ponging back and forth and a Reddit thread is people trying to add on or one-up each other in cleverness. – at Nashville, TN
It took me waaaay too long to realize talking on the phone with the old college organization I was heavily involved in was a very slick sales pitch to try and get $500+ out of me in return for a digital book and a sweatshirt. 🤦🏻♂️ – at Nashville, TN

you ever see your toddler eating an ice cream cone and think gosh I would enjoy a frozen dairy treat of similar proportion to my body
I was in a service organization during college... they contacted me to make sure my info was current, & asked some questions about my time with the org that they would put into a book with other stories... and then turned around and tried to sell me that book for $500. 🤦♂️
It just makes me sad to have yet another aspect of my past that I thought I was a part of to try and make a positive difference just turn out to be another place that leaves me feeling jaded later.
I played dodgeball this morning for the first time in… maybe 26 years?
