🔵Nazareth (4-5) is the #20 seed in 6A South. 19 five-win teams ended up in the south half, so if that seed looks low to you, that’s why. The Roadrunners will have to be road warriors to make another deep run, but they’re more than capable. Their record is largely a product of injuries and the fifth-toughest schedule in the state by opponents’ wins (52), and nobody is lining up to play Nazareth in the playoffs. Chris Kasky and Luke Injaychock dominate the lines, and there’s a ton of speed and skill around them. 🏈Scoring averages: Offense 25.0 / Defense 20.2 👀One player to watch: Junior WR Jackson Flickinger is JJ Chapman’s favorite target and has a combination of great hands and big-play ability 🟠Behind Enemy Lines: Shepard The Astros (5-4) have held opponents to single-digit points in more than half their games. It’s their third straight playoff appearance, and they’re hunting for their first win since 2018. 🗓️Schedule: Medium - 43 opponents’ wins, 1 receiving votes 🏈Scoring averages: Offense 26.2 / Defense 16.9 🏆Best win: Week 6 at T.F.
