In a world that teaches us to focus on ourselves, God calls us to focus on others. We live in a culture that often asks, “What’s in it for me?” But the Kingdom of God teaches us to ask, “How can I be a blessing to someone else?”
Serving others doesn’t always mean doing something big or being recognized. Sometimes it’s a kind word, a listening ear, a helping hand, a prayer or simply showing up when someone needs you.
You don’t have to stand on a platform to make an impact. Sometimes your greatest ministry happens behind the scenes.
You don’t have to be important to serve, but serving others is what makes your life important in the Kingdom of God.
“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
- Mark 10:45
- Intel and Amazon crashing after hours.
- Binance and polymarket compromised.
- Billions in assets stolen
- Stablecoins getting frozen.
What are the key takeaways?
- The consumer is tapped
- Centralized platforms cannot provide proper security in the age of AI yet alone quantum
- If you don’t hold your own assets, they aren’t really yours.
- Stablecoins are easy to locate and freeze on demand…just like a CBDC.
To put this into context, roughly 75–80% of Amazon’s revenue comes from its consumer retail and related businesses. The consumer is tapped out.
BREAKING: Amazon stock, $AMZN, collapses over -12% after reporting weaker than expected Q3 earnings.
The stock has now erased -$315 billion worth of market cap in after hours trading.
Inflation is a tax and taxes are going up
We often spend our days chasing success, wealth, happiness, and recognition. While these things may have their place, our greatest purpose is to know God, love Him and grow closer to Him every day.
God did not create us merely to exist, but to have a relationship with Him. Life is not just about what we achieve or what we possess…it is about who we become in His presence.
The greatest success in life is not gaining the whole world but growing closer to the One who created it.
Remember, you don’t have to be perfect to come closer to God. You simply have to be willing to seek Him with a sincere heart.
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
- James 4:8
Great post!
Ten years ago today, I sat at a conference table finalizing the sale of my company.
We had just wrapped up a 30 day transition period: transferring vendor lines, signing over leases, settling outstanding payables; all the grueling operational details that come with a small business acquisition.
My CPA and lawyer sat beside me. Their counterparts sat across from us. Then came the moment: a check slid across the table. It was the largest amount of money I had ever seen in my life.
Over a decade of work culminated in that single piece of paper.
It represented 7 day workweeks and bell to bell shifts. Sleepless nights during the financial crisis. Countless hours pacing the floor, brainstorming solutions to every minor and major disaster that hits a growing business. It represented the thrill of huge wins and the crushing weight of hard losses. The months of celebration when business was booming, and the lean times spent writing hundreds of paychecks to everyone but myself.
It was the arguments with bankers when we needed capital, and the courting from those same bankers when we succeeded. It was dealing with insurance claims from theft and vandalism and natural causes. It was watching with a smile as our team enjoyed the annual Christmas party and opened their year end bonuses.
It was having to deliver bad news - like health insurance premiums skyrocketing under the now implemented "Affordable" Care Act - and then delivering the good news that the company was going to cover nearly all of the price hike out of its own pocket (even if we had no power over the now higher deductibles). It was watching employees buy their first homes, get married, and start families on the back of something we all built from scratch. And it was the quiet tears when our best laid plans fell apart.
That is the life of a real entrepreneur. That is what it means to actually contribute to the economy and create real jobs.
Thirty minutes later, the attorneys left. It was just me and my CPA, making final tax preparations.
He swung his laptop around to show me the final ledger.
I looked at the number. Nearly half of that record breaking check wasn't going to a church, a charity, or the family of an employee we had lost. It wasn't going to support team members welcoming new children into the world, or to any cause of measure or merit.
It was going to a cold government.
A government I had watched launch forever wars built on lies. A government that bailed out Wall Street while local creditors slashed my credit lines - even though we had never missed a single payment. A government that repeatedly tried to crush my industry with regulations written by massive corporations to keep small, independent operators from climbing the ladder to the tops of the towers they occupied and planned on occupying alone.
That government never offered me advice. It never hired an employee. It never took a call on vacation because a store got broken into. It never had to sit at a little brother's graduation and answer a phone to hear that an employee had just been killed in a tragic accident.
Nearly half. Taken. Gone.
Income taxes are immoral. They also... happen to be the worst way to fund any government... if you want it ACTUALLY answerable to "we the people".

We live in a world that constantly pressures us to compromise our values and accept things that go against God’s Word. But as believers, we are called to stand firm in our faith and not be led astray by the ways of the world.
Just because something is accepted by the world doesn’t mean it is acceptable to God. We must have the courage to stand for truth, even when it is unpopular. Don’t compromise your convictions just to fit in. Love others, show grace and remain faithful to God’s Word.
Don’t let the world change your convictions. Stand firm, stay faithful, and don’t turn to the right or to the left.
“Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.”
- Joshua 1:7
Life takes us through different seasons. Some seasons bring joy and peace, while others leave us feeling broken, weary and uncertain. Sometimes, the wounds we carry are not visible to others, but God sees every tear, every struggle and every silent prayer.
Every season of life teaches us something about God’s character. In seasons of pain, we learn that He is our Healer. In seasons of weakness, we discover His strength. In seasons of waiting, we learn to depend on His timing. And in seasons of uncertainty, we learn to trust His unfailing love.
You may be walking through a difficult season today, but remember that your present pain does not define your future. The same God you trusted yesterday is the God you can trust today and tomorrow.
“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”
- Jeremiah 17:14
Pattern recognition isn’t difficult here…
More homes are hitting the market than at any point since 2000, yet 2026 is shaping up to be the worst year for existing home sales on record, per Yahoo Finance.
Home sellers now outnumber buyers by 63%, the biggest gap since the post-2008 housing crash, and mortgage applications have fallen back to 1995 levels.
Powerful stats about the current environment. The current (45-54) and future (under 35) leaders of the workforce are losing net worth while the rest gain.
Sometimes we become so focused on our big dreams and future goals that we forget to appreciate the little victories along the way. We celebrate the major milestones but overlook the small steps that bring us closer to them.
Every answered prayer, every challenge overcome, every moment of peace and every new day is a reason to be grateful.
God is present not only in our greatest breakthroughs but also in the ordinary moments of life. A difficult day that ends in peace, the strength to keep going or a simple moment of laughter can all be reminders of His goodness.
Never underestimate the power of small blessings. They remind us that life is not just about reaching our destination, but it is also about appreciating the journey.
When we learn to celebrate the little things, we develop a grateful heart and begin to recognize God’s faithfulness in ways we may have overlooked.
“Who dares despise the day of small things?”
- Zechariah 4:10
In our busy lives, it’s easy to get caught up in our daily responsibilities. Sometimes we forget that one of God’s greatest gifts is our family.
Family time is more than simply being in the same room. It’s about being present, listening to one another, sharing laughter, praying together and showing love through our words and actions.
God calls us to build homes where love, grace, forgiveness and faith are at the center. Even small moments like eating together or talking about our day can create lasting memories and strengthen our family bonds.
We may not always have a perfect family or perfect days, but we can choose to make time for one another and keep God at the center of our homes.
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
- Joshua 24:15
