Warren Buffett once got paid $7.5 million to NOT buy a stock. In 1993, Berkshire sold 5 million put options on Coca-Cola at a $35 strike while the stock traded around $39. The deal was simple. If Coke fell below $35, Berkshire would buy shares at a price Buffett already wanted to pay. If it didn't, Berkshire kept the $7.5 million. Coke stayed above $35, so Berkshire kept the full premium. That's a cash-secured put, and you don't need Berkshire's balance sheet to use it. You could pick a stock you'd happily own, choose a price below where it trades today, and sell a put at that strike. You set aside the cash to buy 100 shares, collect the premium up front, and either get paid to wait or buy the stock at a discount. You don't need a trading background or hours in front of a screen. You need a list of companies you'd want to own and the patience to name your price. Not financial advice. I share these for education. This is How to create a Robinhood AI Agent in under 60 seconds! This is the onboarding flow Robinhood showed at $HOOD Summit. - First click Add account then Agentic then Continue - Give your Agent a Name (ex. Neptune) - Review & Sign the agreements - Your dedicated agentic account opens - Trade approvals are turned ON by default - Pick a model (GPT-6 Luna is free for a limited time) - Cool Moon Graphic as Agent goes online It only trades the money you put in that account. And Approvals stay on unless you turn them off. I can't wait to try it out! @RobinhoodApp

The 10-step LEAP system I use for every entry: 1. Never put more into a LEAP than you're willing to lose entirely 2. Watchlist of 5-7 high-conviction names only 3. Wait for oversold conditions 4. Confirm price is at key support 5. Check IV is low - don't overpay for time 6. Buy 360+ days out minimum 7. Strike ~10% OTM - far OTM is a trap 8. Keep total LEAP exposure under 10% of your portfolio 9. Consider selling half at 100% gain 10. Let the rest run until 60 DTE Free LEAPS cheat sheet in comments below 👇

Covered calls are one of the most underused income tools in the market. Here's how they work: 1. You own 100 shares of a stock 2. You sell a call option above your cost basis 3. You collect premium upfront 4. If the stock stays below your strike, you keep the shares and the premium 5. If the stock goes above your strike, your shares get called away at a profit Either outcome is a win. I sell covered calls around the 0.20 delta range, roughly 30 days out. That gives me an 80% probability of keeping my shares while collecting premium every month. The key: only sell covered calls at a strike price you'd be happy selling your shares at. If you'd be upset losing the stock at that price, don't take the trade. Best setups are when RSI is overbought and price is near resistance. You're selling into strength and getting paid for it.

Many traders sell cash-secured puts… but very few actually understand how they’re priced. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵: When you sell a cash-secured put, you’re getting paid for risk transfer. The option premium isn’t random. It’s driven by 4 main inputs: 💥 Stock price 💥 Strike price 💥 Time to expiration 💥 Implied volatility Under the hood, pricing models (like Black-Scholes) estimate the probability that the stock finishes below the strike at expiration. The higher that probability, the more premium you collect. 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: Let’s say $AAPL is trading at $190. You sell the $180 put expiring in 30 days for $2.00. That $2.00 ($200 per contract) reflects: • Time value (30 days of uncertainty) • Implied volatility (expected movement) • Distance from strike (OTM cushion) 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼: Break-even = Strike – Premium received $180 – $2 = $178 So your real risk doesn’t start at $180. It starts below $178. 𝗜𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀: If the model implies ~20% chance of finishing below $180, you’re being paid to take the other side of that 20% risk. That’s why IV matters so much. Higher IV = wider expected move = higher probability of large downside = higher premium. Same stock. Same strike. Higher IV → more cash in your pocket. 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁: extrinsic value decay. Time value melts fastest in the final 2–3 weeks (theta decay). If price stays above strike, that decay works in your favor daily. So when you sell cash-secured puts, you’re essentially: • Selling downside insurance • Getting paid for time • Monetizing volatility 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺: ✅ Selling on quality names ✅ Selling when IV is elevated ✅ Choosing strikes with margin of safety Do it consistently and you’re stacking probabilities, not guessing direction.
