My Everton #177: Lee Wanwoo 🇰🇷
I am a passionate Evertonian of South Korea.
I have been a supporter of the Club since 2008. Even though the team was financially struggling at the time, I was captivated by how David Moyes' tactics and the players' spirit produced top-tier results every season (I also love the colour blue!).
Since then, I've been supporting Everton, and currently I also cover Everton's fan page on the Korean football channel 'One Two Punch'.
I also work as a football commentator for South Korea, and I am the only one in the country who broadcasts Everton matches on the day they are played. I hope I'm doing my bit for the Everton cause and I'd love for our club to become more popular over here in future.
I will support you until the end. Let's hope we can get back to European nights and success soon!
Up the Toffees.
Straight through the keeper! 😅

✍️ My Everton #176: Siân Sawyer, Evertonian
Although I was born and raised near Manchester, my dad, aunt and grandad were all fanatical Toffees and made sure that my younger sister, Ceri, and I followed the correct path of football allegiance.
Dad enrolled us both in the junior Evertonian scheme and, out of the blue, in December 2008, I was drawn to be the Toffee Lady. The only problem was that I had gone down with a heavy cold – but there was no way I was going to fail a late fitness test!
After a dose of Calpol I arrived at Goodison with my family. I was wearing my dad’s old late 1970s Everton home shirt, which impressed Duncan McKenzie as he passed through the foyer. Then, I got to meet Graeme Sharp, plus 'Changy' the mascot elephant!
After photos on the pitch with my family, I was taken to the Everton changing room and was introduced to the likes of David Moyes, Phil Jagielka, Mikel Arteta and Leighton Baines. Next, I was walking around the perimeter of the pitch, as per the Toffee Lady's duties, giving out Everton mints to the crowd, and, after Z Cars, in the centre of the pitch for the captain's handshake with Phil Neville and Martin Laursen from Villa.
It was an experience I'll never forget.
Although I don’t get to matches often, I remain an Evertonian and do my best to re-educate my Manchester United-supporting boyfriend. My sister Ceri never did have the honour of being Toffee Lady but remains ready and willing, if called upon!
Happy 39th birthday to former Everton forward Denis Stracqualursi! 🇦🇷🔵
He made 28 appearances for the Toffees across the 2011/12 campaign, scoring three goals.
Toffees in Japan! 🇯🇵
Amazing to see so many Evertonians gathering in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya! Thank you as always! 💙
Diego Gomez's strike for Brighton in their win against Crystal Palace on Sunday was the longest Premier League goal scored since this beauty from Wayne Rooney back in 2017! 🚀
O Pombo! 🇧🇷
Richarlison struck this crucial winner in May 2022 – cheered on by a thunderous atmosphere at Goodison Park to see off Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea. 🤩
No stopping Romelu Lukaku when he's in this mode. 🔥

“As a proper Blue, I have never used red paint. Not once! I can’t bring myself to put the enemy’s colour on a canvas…” 🎨
