I love it when people from the education world break into the wider public consciousness. And delighted that we’ve sent education’s mightiest avenger for this task.
In this week’s episode of The Amol Rajan Connection: @daisychristo on how we’re messing up Education; the danger of the Stupidogenic Society; what technology does to our minds; long-term vs working memory; and how AI affects what children should learn. Out now on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music.

Can we please stop talking about "summer learning loss"? If students had in fact learned something, then what we are seeing is a reduction of retrieval strength. Storage strength is very unlikely to be affected, and our teaching strategies should reflect this.

Six weeks into senior leadership & one thing is clear: the role is less about having answers and more about holding complexity. Read about the challenges, the learning curve, and what I’m discovering along the way. #education #leadership #alwayslearning wp.me/pf0lRv-3g

My article β€˜Missing Mothers’ is now live in the @CharteredColl Impact journal. With news of increased maternity pay for teachers, this feels especially timely β€” but pay alone isn’t enough. Grateful for the work of @mtptproject pushing this forward πŸ’› πŸ”— my.chartered.college/impact_…
