35 years ago today “Step by Step” premiered on ABC.
The show stars Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers as parents of a blended family. The show aired for 6 seasons on ABC, before being cancelled. It was later picked up by CBS for a 7th and final season.

I’m so relieved he’s at a sanctuary and is safe from poachers. I do hope they will be able to work with ethical breeders to prolong his species though.

His name is Tigrino. He's the only known member of his species, and he lives at a wildlife sanctuary in Bolivia.
In the 24 hours after this story went viral, internet strangers donated over $100,000 to his sanctuary. Not a charity drive, just people who saw the story and wanted him to be okay.
The sanctuary posted a thank you and a video of him today. Follow @La_Senda_Verde for his updates. 🙏
