Prepare for two years of political theater. BUT grandstanding politicians cannot actually hurt Elon Musk or Tesla or SpaceX. ♦️The President is still the President. He controls the executive branch and has veto power (and pardon power). ♦️Texas is purple, and every Tesla and SpaceX project went through the normal local hearings and permitting processes. The permits were approved because the local residents and officials saw the economic advantage of the jobs. ♦️Markets will stabilize as they realize that this harms other companies more than Tesla and SpaceXSI - which always have a good relationship with local communities. The fundamentals have not changed. Tesla and SpaceXSI can operate independently of the grid if need be. They will accelerate, not slow down.

The shareholder letter to the board on the merger was my initiative. I am a Boeing 787 Pilot. I have been buying shares in Tesla and SpaceX since the IPO. The joint shareholder letter in the ratification vote was also my initiative. Alexandra, Kristen and I led the joint letter writing campaign to the Delaware court. And I obtained counsel to intervene in Delaware’s Tornetta case on behalf of shareholders. Alexandra is the best. Both times she dropped everything and helped me when I asked for assistance with these letters to the Board. My account is small. Hers is not. Alexandra and I were just talking about this yesterday. People just don’t understand that we have real and intense careers that have NOTHING to do with Tesla or SpaceX. We are shareholders like many others. We both own shares in SpaceX and Tesla. That is the extent of the relationship. Hedge fund’s will “Talk their Book”. Some hedge funds actively protect their investment. Retail investors act similarly. Alexandra and I fall in the second category. If something is the right thing to do, we take action. Our track record speaks for itself. Others are keyboard warriors casting aspersions. I would prefer to be the one trying to make a difference.
