Huge thanks to our host families for opening their homes to our guests from Ghana and Togo. They had a fun-filled weekend: sightseeing, game nights, @RichmondKickers & just relaxing and spending quality time learning about each other.

This country has captured our heart and we are so grateful for the opportunity to work with them to emphasize the power of sport!
Our friends in Togo have so much joy and passion for sport! This day's focus was self-confidence & a sense of belonging. A tennis workshop implemented some of the lessons we discussed. We also were treated to an amazing in-line skating exhibition.

Day 2 of our Sports Diplomacy camp in Togo started with a discussion on restorative justice & how ‘circles’ can be utilized to work through these topics. As we practiced ‘circles’ with the coaches, we were able to learn more about their communities, tactics, and everyday lives…
What a welcome from our friends in Togo!
The opening ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Sport, was filled with music, singing and dancing.
Our 1st classroom session focused on teaching social change through sport then our team led a workshop on teambuilding & communication.
We finished the afternoon with some free play and fun. We are off to a great start in this amazing country.

Ou final day of programming in Ghana was all about self-confidence and belonging. Lindzy and Fish from @weareangelcity led us through exercises related to believing in ourselves and empowering others…
Sarah and Kate’s field sessions showed the many ways we have to win as a team and create a sense of belonging in order for everyone to be their best. The sessions tied into one another beautifully, and we got to play a lot of soccer!
