MEPs from the @EP_Development Committee have concluded their visit to Bolivia.
Mission chair @ReinholdLopatka debriefs on what they've learned about how the EU can support Bolivia's sustainable and inclusive development.
The final day of the @EP_Development Bolivia mission focused on sustainable innovation & circular economy initiatives, learning how they can support Bolivia's sustainable & inclusive development.
MEPs also met business representatives to discuss Bolivia’s investment climate.
On its second day in the country, @EP_Development on their mission to Bolivia visited EU-financed initiatives promoting sustainable development in the Yungas region for rural communities and agroforestry alternatives to coca production, such as cocoa, coffee and honey.
MEPs also joined a discussion with Bolivian MPs on how international cooperation and investment can support Bolivia’s sustainable and inclusive development.
