Not even bothering to dignify that with a response, Talbain cut to the chase. He’d thrust his palm forward with claws folded in, attempting to strike at his double’s shoulder.

“Bah. Constant accusations will get us nowhere. Why don’t we simply settle this in a way that best suits the real Jon Talbain.”

“Do you think I’m doing this on purpose?” Talbain growled right back at him.

“Do you even need to ask? I don’t know if you’re another shadow, some sad puppet, or something else entirely, but you’re a doppelgänger nonetheless.”

“I’m used to one doppelgänger running around…but /two/? What nonsense is this?”

“Peace and quiet…”

“Tell me about it…”

A mighty howl pierced the night sky. It was time to hunt.

Leo’s perhaps one of the few out there that Talbain trusts to truly understand him. He’d be more than happy to spend some time with the cursed king.

He most certainly will! A well trained body requires well trained willpower. Both are paramount for keeping the beast inside locked up.

He’ll have to adopt that for his own training regiment.

He’s been quite busy with training lately, but the results speak for themselves.

He’s on patrol again, if you can call it that, scouring the darkened outskirts of the city for any signs of monstrous activity.

As the little alien drew closer to the meditating werewolf, Talbain did not move an inch. It wasn’t until she got close enough that he’d finally speak up. “I don’t suggest coming closer,” He warned. “And I don’t appreciate the spying, either.”

“More and more denizens of the dark…”
