I can promise this: The Senate will not vote to leave NATO and abandon our allies just because Trump is upset they wouldn’t go along with his reckless war of choice.
Thank you to @SecRubio for sponsoring the bill in 2023 requiring a two thirds vote of the Senate to make sure clueless presidents couldn’t act on a whim.

Good time to push for a real CANZUK trade bloc—UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Strong enough to stand alone and push back, but aligned with the US, EU, and others where it makes sense. Adding Singapore, India, etc., would be great, but not realistic atm.

Struggling to win negotiations? Get to know the psychology of persuasion.
These 6 rules of persuasion will make you a better closer:
1. Reciprocity: We are trained from early on to want to give back to those who have given to us first
2. Liking: We prefer to say yes to those we like
3. Social proof: We look to others to judge whether we should do something ourselves
A people paradox for marketers to navigate -
We like to be told what to do and yet want to be in control of our actions
When selling, rise above spin with hard data to support your idea – be specific, clear and evidence-led.
Adjective-laden descriptions will never be as powerful.
Speaking clearly, concisely and with confidence will help people take what you have to say seriously. And help them to agree with you.
Churchill won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1953 for ‘mastery of descriptions and brilliant oratory in defending exalted human values’
Who are the best speakers in recent front-line politics? Obama?
